Life

Tomorrow Carter will be 4 weeks old and then 1 month old on Sunday. That went by....quite quickly! I never realized how fast time really does go by until I had kids. Slow down please!

At his 2 week check up a couple weeks ago he was at 8lbs, 4oz and 21 inches. We got off to quite a rough start with him having surgery at just a week old, but he is healthy and doing great now and that is all we can ask for.

Caden hasn't taken to his brother quite like we expected him to. When I was pregnant he was so excited about his brother but I think the fact that Carter didn't come out ready to play hot wheels with him quickly changed his mind. He's warming up to him more and more each day. He'll give him a kiss or give him his pacifer or ask to help with a diaper (though he just wants to see what's in it...weirdo). Some progress is better than none I suppose.

We are hoping to be back in San Diego soon. All we need is a job for Steven and we are on our way. We love and miss you all, always. New pictures are up in the January & February folders on the site.
